THE HIVE.

Known as the Kincavel Air Bee 'n' Bee, the 5 box colony is home to over 50,000 bees. Since the estate on which they reside is secluded in a sub-city where no commercial businesses are allowed, the bees forage in an environment where no harsh chemicals are present. The garden on the estate grounds grows all organic produce, and no pesticides are used on the garden. Since it is a single hive colony, we do not harvest more than the bees can handle. Our first priority is to make sure the hive is thriving and well taken care of, and what we harvest comes from the abundance that they provide.
 

The honey is harvested every 3 weeks, depending on the health and success of the hive. We only harvest in the Spring and Summer, to ensure that the colony will be healthy, well-fed, and survive the harsh Winters. The honey is filtered once through a thick layer of cheesecloth, to ensure that the honey is pure and clean. We do not over filter or process our honey, so that the local pollen and rich flavors stay prominent.
